Lord, Teach Me to Play

Lord, I don't know the lie I'm believing
Can't identify how the devil's deceiving
But I feel the weight
It's affecting my gait
And I want to be free for your Eden.

I’ve become so serious, joy stunted by pain
Not well received, abdicated my claim
The devil delights
In this choice of great price
I don’t want to give rise to this heathen.

Lord, teach me to play, I know you delight
When your children partake in the joy of your light
So trust then I will
That this playground is safe
And play in your gaze next to Heavenly gates.
